Cath Turner - Senior Nursery Manager
Cath is the Senior Nursery Manager and begun managing Hatton Hill in June 2007. In January 2010 Cath went from Nursery Manager to Senior Nursery Manager in a new role that has been developed for the company that sees Cath overseeing both the Windlesham Nursery and the Farnborough Nursery. Therefore Cath's week is split between the two settings and on average spends 2-3 days per week at Hatton Hill.
Before she began working at Casterbridge she was a training officer for a large childcare company, training Nursery Managers, deputies, qualified and unqualified staff in various areas, including child protection, behaviour management and the Foundation Stage Curriculum.
Cath enjoys being based back in nursery, developing relationships with children, parents and staff and thrives on the daily challenges that managing a busy nursery brings!
Cath qualified as a nursery nurse in 1996 and has since gone on to complete a Foundation Degree in Early Years. In June 2009 Cath also gained her full degree and Early Years Professional status and has now decided after 7 years of further education to have a well earned rest from the text books!!

Maria Smith - Acting Nursery Manager
Maria joined Hatton Hill in 1996 as a Nursery Assistant in the baby room. She then completed the NVQ 3 in 1997 and went on to become Senior Nursery Nurse, leading to her promotion as Deputy Manager in July 2005. In May 2010 in order to support Cath Turner (Senior Nursery Manager) in her new role Maria was promoted to Acting Nursery Manager, this has led Maria to experience some new and exciting developments to her career which she is very much enjoying.
In 2003 Maria gained her D32/D33 Assessors Award. She is also the workplace Health and Safety Co ordinator and Fire warden, and holds a Peadiatric First Aid certificate.
In order to keep herself up to date with the world of childcare Maria regularly attends training.
Jo Leach - Junior Deputy Manager
My name is Jo and I am the Room Manager of Dormice.In January 2010 I was promoted to Junior Deputy which involves me supporting Cath and Maria in their roles for a short period of my week. I have a Diploma in Childcare and Education which I completed in May 07. I have worked at Hatton Hill since June 07 and find working with the babies very rewarding.
Outside of work I enjoy going out with my friends, going shopping and spending time with my family.
Emma Spooner - Unit Co-ordinator 1's - 2's
Hello my name is Emma and I am the Unit Co-ordinator of the two 1's - 2's areas called Butterflies and Hedgehogs. I have been part of Hatton hill since 2005 and have always been based in Butterflies although since May 2010 I have been supporting the Hedgehogs team. I have completed my NVQ 3 and I have also studied child development and health and social care. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I have always wanted to work with children, I am very happy with in my work and really do enjoy my job.
